David Burns, FCCA, BA (Oxon) - Managing Director
David has been a ACCA member since 1983. During this time he has built extensive experience working in general practice and commerce. Prior to setting up Burns and Co Accountants David worked as the financial director for a company within the leisure sector managing approximately 150 pubs, restaurants & hotels, a IT research group looking at UK, European and African IT markets and a business to business Magazine Publishing & Events group. David now uses this wealth of experience with his clients at Burns and Co Accountants.
David enjoys a good book, cup of coffee and a glass of red wine; not all at once though!
Dominic Burns, FCCA - Director
Dominic joined the practice in early 2014. Dominic has a passion for tax and primarily works on advising individuals on their tax positions, preparing accounts for owner managed companies and dealing with their company tax affairs.
Dominic enjoys the gym and outdoor life, he can often be found enjoying a dog walk with his Border Collie.
Phil Buss, ACA, BA (Hons) - Accountant
Phil graduated with an honour’s degree in Accounting with Finance in 2004 and is a member of the ICAEW qualification.
Phil prepares limited company, sole trader accounts and advises clients in the most tax efficient strategies for their business.
In his spare time Phil enjoys staying active through his gym membership, road running and love of outdoor pursuits.
